With experiencing so many new things, like having our own home in a nut shell, I find myself proclaiming "I LOVE ______" more and more! Some are things I have taken for granted most of my years and some are new things that now leave me wondering how I lived without these things everyday. It is here I wish to proclaim my love for these things, maintain a Top 10 list and update them and their order according to my love and appreciation of each thing. With the constancy of new experiences I expect them to change quite frequently.
1. Husband: He loves "30 Rock" maybe as much as I do.
2. Water: So VERSATILE! It keeps my plants happy, keeps me hydrated and glowing, and I find myself
showering a lot more, so I am very grateful for water.

3. Air Conditioning (in both the car and house): It was over 100 degrees multiple days last week...enough
said. Also...we have leather seats in our car...would be a little ickier if we didn't have A/C.

4. Pyrex (of ALL shapes and sizes): Definitely moving up in my list! I am amazed at the PYREX world, and
am slightly feeling myself becoming obsessed...we'll see if in a year's time I have every type of
pyrex piece made to date...could be trouble. (I am definitely struggling to decide on whether I love
pyrex or air conditioning more...THAT'S how much I love pyrex!)

5. Things with lids: This is an all-inclusive love I am discovering. I am in LOVE with/may have a strong
attraction to anything that has a matching lid to it. Coming to mind, our melamine mixing bowls with
matching lids, pots and pans with matching lids, and of course....PYREX. They all have matching
lids! For storage in the fridge, for keeping leftovers! Even the 9x13 in baking pans! I am head over
heels! *sigh*
6. Queen Bed: I love our bed and I have my own side! (Kuddos if you can guess my side) However, it has
moved down from position 4 because I am bothered by how compelled I feel to make it everyday,
sure makes the room look prettier!

7. Food Processor: Again so versatile! (Just as the woman who gifted me the money to buy it said it would
be.) Thus far I have created guacamole, hummus, bread crumbs, and the crust and filling for
pumpkin cheesecake bars all in this wonderful machine.

8. Make-Up: This is a new one on the list... Those of you who I told about my family trip to South Carolina
a couple of summers ago will recall my major complaint of the South, is that "I am ugly there." My
beautiful curly hair loses it's cool (pun intended) and my skin goes through a period of adjustment.
This morning, after days of feeling not my usual gorgeous self, I have rediscovered my love for
make-up!

9. Cook Books/Foodnetwork.com: Such a huge world of cooking out there! And I love looking at the
pictures of final products. Also, never knew recipe reviews would be so helpful, I am amazed that
people take the time to review recipes.
10. Cooking Tongs: Perhaps the most diverse of the cooking utensil family, I love tongs! You can use them
for pastas, salads, grilling...not to mention how cool they look and how fun they are to use.

cooks.com is an amazing recipe website. I love it because i don't generally use recipes completely, but more to learn the chemistry of what I am trying to make while adding my own spin to the ingredients, so their search bar is great because you can just put a few ingredients in (e.g. chicken spinach parmesan) and it will pop up with all sorts of recipes that you can use. LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteFoundation is also a sunscreen if you can keep it on your face!
